Premiere: n_o – Definitely One Of The Songs (Azo’s Sunshine Mix)

Now on the cusp of their third release, London-based record label Manual Smiles line up three deep cuts from label head n_o, fluently blending acid heat, leftfield house and tribal techno.

Previously making moves under the moniker Bad Internet, the Belgian-born producer n_o delivers the short length EP ‘Definitely One Of The Songs‘ – a digital space jam venturing the vaults of synthesized tribal on ‘I Promise You A Green Pigeon‘ and psychedelic trance on ‘Definitely One Of The Songs‘, all topped off with an ecstatic remix of Brussels-based producer and Queen Future Club resident Azo.

Our pick from the release is Azo’s version of ‘Definitely One Of The Songs‘ – thanks to her Detroit-infused acid-house stamp enhanced with majestic piano chords and amen breaks that dazzle the audience in a flash. Thus, the perfect soundtrack to discover more about the Belgian Wave phenomena – the infamous UFO sightings that occurred between 1989 and 1991.
