Succeeding the ‘Paris Bristol (Remixes)’ EP release from Shonen Bat in February 2024, Lyon-based platform Bad Tips returns with the seven-track ‘Can’t Get Enough‘ EP – courtesy of Bordeaux-based producer Neida.
Aside from making waves with the Super Daronne collective and releasing tracks on Paris-based imprint Nehza, the nighthawk producer presents a seven-track ‘Can’t Get Enough’ EP, complemented by four remixes from Bristol-based producer Portway, Galtier, Everybody Trance affiliate Subsism and Miss Jay. Neida’s club-focused incantations are synthesized from a seamless blend of foreshocking bass, drum & bass, murky grime and rowdy breaks.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Hydro‘ – a UK bass-heavy trap cut to help you navigate rough waters. As Neida hammers down all the rules again, he dives deep into feverish breaks reminiscent of the nu-skool era, microseismic basslines and submarine signals.
