Fresh off an excellent tape for Rivet’s boundary-pushing Kess Kill and one year on since the landing of his debut LP, ‘Landung‘, German producer Stefan Junge, alias Piska Power, returns to Kris Baha’s Power Station with a versatile six-tracker filling the space between left-of-centre electronics, pixelated new wave and jagged EBM on a rogue experimental tip. A wild bunch of freaky analogue beats to get nuts to.
Premiereing via our channels today, ‘Strigoi‘ is an Italo-infused 8bit anthemic ride geared to take dance floors by storm. A cluster bomb of frantic arpeggios, dazzling synth stabs and playfully solemn new wavey vocals by way of contrapuntal device, the track unreels at full tilt, like a blazing dream of Moroder-esque bizarro, packed to the brim with the most ravishing keyboard glitter and strass. Killer stuff.
Eiter Mit Stulle is released via Power Station on 4th November, pre-order a copy from Bandcamp.
