Introducing their first ever vinyl release, London via Leipzig-based label Second Born prepare to drop ‘Prefrontal Asymmetry‘ EP from Porter Brook.
Following releases on Sheffield’s cult label and club-night Groundwork and Al Wootton’s record label Trule, Porter Brook delivers three cyber-minded tracks replete with a remix by Ukrainian producer GAEL. Mastered by Miles Whittaker of Demdike Stare, Brook erects a barbed wire barricade of breaks, sci-fi techno and trippy bass.
Our pick is ‘I’ve Developed Eyes for Such Behaviour‘ featuring Manchester-based vocalist LINTD. The producer spins off the illusion by incorporating dystopian soundscapes and bass-heavy breaks filled with FX-soaked frequencies evoking nightmarish beasts, freeing himself from the maelstrom of digital clubbing.
‘Prefrontal Asymmetry‘ is scheduled for release 26th June via Second Born. Order a vinyl copy from Inverted Audio Store.
