Following the release of two recent limited edition dubplates, Berlin-based imprint W133 line up a split extended player from local producers Lask and Prieste5s.
After appearing on RS/ST and Underdub Records, and the release of an EP inspired by Drexciya on Interlock Records with All Trades, Prieste5s joins forces with Lask resulting in a combination of fast-paced techno, dubby riddims, and UK bass. For all the rubber burners, definitely one to remember.
Our pick ‘2 Clicks‘ is a pure UK bass melter stripped down to the very essence. Packed with warbling bass, highly-echoed flutes and hypnotic polyrhythmic grooves, the American-born producer and visual artist Prieste5s, spares no effort to bring together two rival clicks nailing fiercely gun fingers towards the blue.
