Berlin-based record label Immaterial Earth prepare to release their debut extended player from label boss Prieste5s.
In addition to appearances on Berlin-based labels MALöR and W133, ‘Immediate Earthly Meditation‘ EP presents 6-tracks infused with crepuscular wisdom and ancestral echoes. Flowing along the edge of a long-forgotten cyberspace, Prieste5s alternates meditative ambient mantras with high-spirited breaks and crooked states of jungle.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Concentric‘. Mastered by Isabel Schröer at Scape Mastering, the track conveys a laid-back parade of celestial soundscapes that evoke a post-Gregorian chorus tossed into the skies, as well as space-dilated FX frequencies that provide a sense of ethereal abstraction, before falling into floating breaks in the midsection.
