Berlin-based record label Immaterial Earth prepare to unveil their third offering, the evocative ‘In The Vastness You Left Behind’ from label head Prieste5s.
This 6-track mini album delves into the emotional undercurrents of contemporary relationships, exploring the eerie pursuit of a twin flame through jagged realms of obscure sins and fleeting euphoria. Drawing from previous works with Amsterdam-based label traverse and W133, Prieste5s continues to assert herself as an innovative producer in the mecca of nightlife.
Our pick, ‘Ecstatic Disintegration’, is an exhilarating foray into trance-driven chaos, where spiralling synths and intricately crafted breakbeats collide in a dance of controlled anarchy. The track builds up relentlessly, immersing the audience into a storm of digital echoes, throbbing bass and an unsettling ambiance that evokes the narrative of a cyberpunk ecstasy. With the addition of warped vocals, Prieste5s crafts a vision of a dystopian future, charged with tension and transcendent energy.
