Beirut-based label System Revival prepare a new compilation to raise money for the Wave Of Hope for the Future charity, featuring artists such as Second Storey, Shoal, Wrong Assessment, Gramrcy and Drvg Cvltvre.
Wave of Hope for the Future was formed in 2019 in the Greek refugee camp of Moria to raise money for other refugees, providing education opportunities and materials to those within 5 camps on Greece, with over 4,000 refugee students, and now extends back towards the founder’s homeland of Afghanistan. System Revival’s ‘Wave Of Hope‘ pulls together 24 artists for their 4th massive charity campaign, after raising funds for causes in Beirut, Lebanon, and the Zero Hunger project.
Our premiere, selected from a crop of fantastic offerings, comes from Second Storey, who has collaborated with Skull Disco co-founder Appleblim. Future music with a nostalgic smile on its face, ‘FTF‘ combines solid club gear with a smooth melody, liquid synthesis blending with a headbutting bass that carves a heavy groove through the runtime.
‘Wave Of Hope’ is scheduled for release 3 June via System Revival. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
