Premiere: Shjva – Seafoam

Following two years of releases, Bristol-based label Common Ancestors line up the release of ‘Suspiria‘ LP courtesy of Ukrainian trance sensation Shjva, previously featured on legendary Polish label Brutaż and affiliated with artists Sunju Hargun and Volodymyr Gnatenko.

Based out of Warsaw, Shjva is a fierce torchbearer for the trance revival. Stepping up with seven Lovecraftian tracks, ‘Suspiria‘ oscillates between digitised rub-a-dub, sibylline downtempo and leftfield post-industrial techno.

Our pick from the release is ‘Seafoam‘ – a track steeped into subaqueous and bloopy sonics, mingling with spiritual ambient extravaganza and tribal-driven rhythms. Now, you have a mission. Embark on the underwater pilgrimage to Neo-Goa and find out where the Kraken devour their prey.

‘Suspiria’ is scheduled for release on 18th August via Common Ancestors. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
