Now on the cusp of their third release, Lyon-based imprint hess publica return with the collaborative ‘HESP 3 V/A‘ EP – courtesy of producing duo Solma and Arnaud is Dancing.
Following previous appearances on Toulouse riddim provider Egregore and Crescent London, Paris-based producer Solma joins forces with Expedition Community’s affiliate Arnaud is Dancing for four tracks of trance extravaganza topped off with a bass-heavy remix conducted by Lyon-based troublemaker Maelita. Their ‘HESP 3 V/A‘ EP features spaced-out trance, freaky eurodance, ecstatic braindance and nefarious breaks.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Sugar Snake‘ interpreted by Solma. This track is nothing less than a tenebrous spell transforming sugar-coated aliens into snake-shaped carbon sculptures through swirls of a synthesized chorus, highly corrupted computer signals, tumultuous supersaw arpeggios and thumping kick drums.
‘HESP 3 V/A’ EP is scheduled for release on 19th April via hess publica. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
