Premiere: Sortlegeme – Incubation Caves

Unveiling their seventh release, Scandinavian imprint Barkhausen prepare to release ‘They Are Many‘ album – courtesy of Sortlegeme, a solo project crafted by Danish multi-instrumentalist Jeppe Dalsgaard Andersen.

Following appearances on Katharsis, Perfect Aesthetics and Schacke’s noise imprint Moral Defeat, ‘There Are Many‘ steers us away from world collapsing disasters with its flecks of post-noise penumbra, dark ambient and kosmische sonic capsules. Sortlegeme lays out a survival guide for a planetary renaissance based on millenary ashes.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Incubation Caves‘ – thanks to its underwater signals overlapping with whalelike frequencies and obscure mermaid mantras. Here’s what you need to soothe your mind before searching for everlasting water scorpions in Movile Cave.

‘They Are Many’ is scheduled for release on 16th February via Barkhausen. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
