Now on the cusp of their ninth release, Amsterdam-based record label Entangled Visions line up two tenebrous soundscapes – courtesy of neo-kosmische producer xpedient, also known as Paradoxes and Holy Similaun.
Following previous appearances on Florence-based imprint OOH-sounds, multi-disciplinary platform HIDE and Kohlhaas under the moniker Holy Similaun – xpedient delivers his sophomore cassette release ‘XJR-9‘, a deep dive into a dark ambient symphony, celestial braindance and moonlight experimental.
Our pick from the release is ‘E0011‘ – a thirty-minute odyssey into dark matter intertwined with gravity-checked atmospheres and FX-drenched frequencies. This is nothing less than a pipedream mantra inside a stress-free 5D capsule.
