Six years since the release of their inaugural ‘Lemmy‘ EP, which subsequently kicked off the mysterious MASK imprint, Berlin-based producer ZentaSkai prepare to unleash their debut album.
Following two extended players on the MASK and a collaborative EP with Apoena on the Brazilian label Allnite Music – ‘The Architecture Of The Mind‘ plunges listeners into the essence of euphoria house, dub analog techniques, synaptic circuits of micro-house and spell-casting techno.
Our pick from the release is ‘Karl-Marx Allee‘ – a deep concrete cut custom-made for brutalist master builders. On this grey-matter groove, ZentaSkai and Jeremy Reinhard join forces with potent 909 drum patterns, distant flecks of synth textures, and whisperings you would hear in a haunted supermarket.
