Taking place on November 27, Glasgow’s volunteer run Radio Buena Vida celebrate their first year on air with a two-part event featuring a special back-to-back set between DJ Fett Burger and Telephones.
Having launched amidst lockdown last year, Radio Buena Vida is a community internet radio station, started initially as a pop-up in the window of Some Great Reward record café in Govanhill. To date they have broadcasted over 1000 shows from both local and international vices, and have amounted 70 loyal residents.
To mark this milestone event, celebrations kick off at The Old Hairdressers bar in Glasgow between 18:00 – 22:00, where local Radio Buena Vida residents Hot Towel, Curlach, Farnaz and Optimistic Soul will provide an eclectic soundtrack ahead of second part of the evening taking place at Stereo on Renfield Lane.
Taking place between 23:00 – 03:00 at Stereo, DJ Fett Burger and Telephones will play a Scotland exclusive back-to-back set alongside performances from Radio Buena Vida resident KTAB and Edinburgh-based Hiba with live visuals from Georgina Penstkart.
