DJ Antepop plays three hours of ambient, deep house and dub techno on Brick Lane, all taken from the racks of the Inverted Audio Record Store.
Inverted Audio is heading to East London. On Sunday 4 October, DJ Antepop will play an all-vinyl set at Cafe 1001 on Brick Lane from 5pm to 8pm. It’s the first outing for a new format that takes the shop’s shelves out of Peckham and into a room full of people. Entry is free, so there’s no ticket to buy. Just turn up.
Every record played is on sale at the Inverted Audio Record Store. The set flows freely through ambient, deep house and dub techno, the sounds we spend most of our time digging for, listening to and writing about. Think of it as a live walk through the shop: records we’ve picked for a reason, played on a proper system.
The mix will be filmed and recorded, and it’ll go up on the Inverted Audio YouTube and Soundcloud channels afterwards. If you can’t make it on the day, you’ll still be able to hear it. But nothing beats being in the room.

If you miss it on the night, the records will be in the shop the following week, at its usual times: Thursday to Saturday, 12pm–6pm, and Sunday, 12pm–4pm.
