St John Sessions: Actress, Eddie Peake, Nic Hamilton

On Thursday 29th August St John Sessions, an experimental music series hosted in St John’s church in the London borough of Hackney will host a unique conceptual production by Werkhaus, the creative house founded and run by Darren Cunningham aka Actress.

The performance, titled “A Shared Cultural Memory” is a shared creative performance by electronic musician Actress, performance artist Eddie Peake and visual artists Nic Hamilton and Lucy Benson. The audience will witness these artists working together to create a performance that complements the churches architecture as well as exploring themes such as the decomposition of faith, truth and elements of popular culture.

As official media partners of St John Sessions Inverted Audio will be present on the evening photographing the spectacle. You can read our in depth interview with Darren Cunningham aka Actress, where he expands on the concept of the performance as well as his relationship with Eddie Peake and Nic Hamilton. We are also offering a pair of tickets to the Werkhaus evening. You can win tickets to the performance via our Facebook page.
