On Friday 27 March, Brighton-based party starters Polar relocate to North London, presenting their first series of events at Low Profile Studios, featuring a blistering back-to-back lineup curated by residents Blixa and Tia Cousins.
With releases on Mark Broom’s imprint Beard Man and Luke Slater’s acclaimed record label Mote-Evolver, Rene Wise is gaining attention for his swooping industrial textures and highly effective techno. For the occasion, the UK-based producer will play back-to-back with Mancunian producer Yant, who over the past 12 months has played at Tresor, FOLD, and Village Underground with Surgeon.
South East London based music connoisseur Sean OD joins in on the back-to-back action with Polar resident and NTS host Tia Cousins – revellers can expect an eclectic offering of oddball electronics, Japanese jazz-funk to lush ’80s boogie, via sultry beats and hammering techno.
Lastly, Polar linchpin Blixa plays back-to-back with Patrisha — all hosted with the stripped-back industrial confines of Low Profile Studios, located within the Harringay Warehouse District.
