Tutto Questo Sentire announce film premiere of ‘Exercises On Displacement 2014-2020’

On Thursday 17 December, Futur.Shock will broadcast the online film premiere of Tutto Questo Sentire‘s film ‘Exercises On Displacement 2014-2020‘ via Facebook Live.

The film celebrates TQS’s sixth year, presenting a 21-minute audio-visual work narrated by curator Elaine Tam, navigating through five years of site-specific events, residencies and interdisciplinary collaborations.

First launched as an artist residency in 2014 by visual artist Rebecca Salvadori, experimental opera singer Olivia Salvadori and composer / cellist Sandro Mussida, Tutto Questo Sentire is an artist-run platform that brings together a group of international researchers to reflect and explore their own personal practices in relation to the experience of sound.

2019 marked the collectives fifth year of existence, and to commemorate this milestone, TQS hosted an ambitious five-part series of avant-garde and experimental events in London exploring new commissions, performances and discussions focussed on exploring the theme of displacement.

Venues included Cafe OTO, South London Gallery, Cork Street, The Heath², and FOLD, with each event conjuring a programme of contemporary luminaries including; Mark Fell, Lucy Railton, Rian Treanor, Jan Hendrickse, Paul Modler plus the CURL Collective composed of Mica Levi, Brother May and Coby Sey.

‘Exercises On Displacement 2014-2020’ broadcasts from 21:00 -21:30 GMT on Thursday 17 December 2020.

Exercises on Displacement is co-produced by Thirty Three Thirty Three and is supported by Arts Council England, the Italian Institute of Culture and Roberto Lombardi. Inverted Audio is an official media partner.
