London-based Discogs seller Vinyl Pimp is up for sale

After two decades of selling rare and sought-after vinyl records online and in-person from a temporary store in Hackney Wick, Hon – better known as the Vinyl Pimp – has announced that his business and record collection are up for sale.

Founded in 2005, Vinyl Pimp has built a strong reputation on Discogs, boasting an impressive 99.9% positive rating from 49,454 reviews. The announcement, shared via Facebook and Instagram, states that the sale includes 22,000 records valued at £200,000, along with all shop fixtures, the Discogs and Instagram accounts, and comprehensive training for the new owner. However, the lease for the Hackney Wick warehouse is not part of the deal.

The asking price for the business and inventory is £85,000, and interested buyers are encouraged to inquire via Instagram DM.
