This week’s addition to our sister series comes courtesy of Refuge Worldwide resident Vio PRG, a Berlin-based selector extraordinaire who has shown poise and versatility with their Flight Mode show – highlighting precious sonic rarities that traverse the genres of afrobeat, balearic, disco, house and beyond.
Building up that reservoir of unique and thoughtful selections brought upon the chance to highlight their direct-to-dancefloor prowess with mixes for the likes of Balamii, HÖR and Permanent Vacation – diversifying their already attuned notions to narrative flow towards audiences beyond their residency.
The combination of thoughtful selection and enigmatic club effusiveness made her a perfect choice for Newtype Rhythms – and their mix is a pure injection of dancefloor joy. Weaving seamlessly between electro, house, techno, trance and more – Vio PRG’s mix is one for the books in the series.
