Today we are proud to unveil the trailer for our film with Sassy J made for Dekmantel’s Selector series in collaboration with Grolsch.
For this film we headed to Switzerland to hang out with Bern-based DJ and selector Sassy J, as we aimed to find out more about her local surroundings, early years’ learning in a music-loving family and discover what makes her tick today.
Also known for her fine textile pieces, Judith has been honing her skills for over ten years, from her ever-tasteful curations at the Patchwork nights – which featured the likes of MF Doom, Moodymann, Theo Parrish… to gracing the stages of some of Europe’s finest clubs and festivals, including her excellent last performance at Dekmantel a couple of weeks ago.
The film was directed by Jaroslav Moravec and produced by Tom Durston and Eelco Couvreur for Dekmantel.
