Today long-running German festival Nachtdigital unveil their full line-up for 2018. This year’s edition, entitled “Nachtdigital Flex”, features an exciting selection of established talents alongside newer and lesser-known artists including Blawan, Demdike Stare, Objekt, Beatrice Dillon, Optimo, Rroxymore, Ben UFO and Huerco. S amongst many others.
The line-up is dedicated to “both classical and modern forms of electronic dance and listening music” and is split into three ‘blocks’ that span several stages. In addition to the overall line-up spread across all stages, there’s a special showcase event on Saturday night at the tent stage produced in conjunction with Leipzig label KANN, alongside a dedicated ambient stage that’ll see specialised sets from Ben UFO, Huerco S. and many more.
Offering an “an alternative to careless name dropping and commercial mass processing”, Nachtdigital has carefully preserved it’s independence and integrity over its 20-year history. It remains a manageably-sized, unpretentious and “love-driven” affair that puts the music and people front and centre.
Nachtdigital Flex is set to take place between 3-5 August at Bungalowdorf, a bungalow village located in Olganitz, Germany, the festival’s nearest travel links are Leipzig and Dresden airports, with options to reach the site using bus, train or taxi.
