Following a string of release on Berceuse Heroique, She Lost Kontrol and Mannequin in 2018 – Black Merlin lands on Oliver Hafenbauer’s imprint Die Orakel with a hypnotic three-track extended player.
“Kode” EP is said to “come with simple yet intriguing and hypnotic modular textures in loopy arrangements.” Indeed all three tracks feature a similar melody, embodying a mantra driven arrangement and a trait of suspense that carries throughout the record.
