Egyptian sound alchemist ZULI marks his return to Lee Gamble’s UIQ imprint with the announcement of ‘All Caps‘, a follow up EP to his 2018 long-player ’Terminal’.
Having falling victim to robbery on a train in February 2019, resulting in the loss of his laptop, audio interface, midi-controllers, USB, plus all live stems and forthcoming releases – a fundraising initiative was setup, successfully raising over €3000 to replace Ahmed El Ghazoly’s studio equipment.
Fast forward to the present and the producer kicks off 2021 with ‘All Caps’ – a six-track extended player exploring hyper-abstract electronics incorporating bass, jungle and rave. No doubt, one for the heads.
All Caps is scheduled for release 12 March via UIQ. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
