Monty Luke lines up debut album ‘Hard Work Not Hype’ on Dogmatik

Detroit-based producer Monty Luke has announced his debut full length set for release in February 2019 via London-based record label Dogmatik.

Consisting of eight soulfully infused Detroit house tracks, ‘Hard Work Not Hype‘ steps away from the club and instead “showcases the style of a new generation of Detroit producers carrying the beacon for a deep, Detroit sound that blends analogue weight and punchy drum programming together with masterful synth work and raw emotion.” – Even the artwork (pictured below) is composed of a flecked aerial map of Detroit, cementing the influence the Motor City has had on Monty Luke and his musical output.

‘Hard Work/ Not Hype’ LP is scheduled for release 22nd February 2019 via Dogmatik and will be available in vinyl and digital formats.
