Our sister mix series has returned, with some premiere synergy in tow. The latest episode of Newtype Rhythms features a rip-roaring guest mix from Hedchef – a Melbourne-based artist who’s become an ongoing presence of brusque, bass-bin brilliance with releases on the labels Scuffed and Extra Spicy.
Fresh off the release of “On How Not To Become The Monsters We Despise” on Berlin-based label Ecke (out today), Hedchef provides a guest mix that seamlessly blends immersive rhythmic journeys with percussive pops and high-energy dancefloor expenditures, featuring some Newtype alums in the mix itself. Expect a thoughtful exploration of sound that stirs the soul and gets your soles worn out (in a good way).
