On Tuesday 26 May, Home of Sound invite Croatian techno producer Insolate to host an online music production masterclass via Zoom, aimed at deconstructing her production methods and shed light into her approach to using Sound Design, FX, Virtual Studio Technology (VST) and Sequencing.
Renowned for her dark, atmospheric and pummelling strain of techno, Insolate has released music through respected imprints, including DJ Deep’s Deeply Rooted, Marcelus’s Singular and Developer’s Modularz. Fans of Cleric, Kobosil, Oscar Mulero and LSD (Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell, David Sumner) take note.
Established in 2015 with like-minded partner Volster, their record label Out Of Place has released a sturdy sprinkling of 12″s featuring track contributions from François X, JoeFarr, Milton Bradley and Developer. Additionally, they operate an event series named TRAUM, bringing the likes of Jamaica Suk, Antigone and Janice to their native city of Osijek in Croatia.
