HTRK launch own imprint N & J Blueberries with ‘Rhinestones’ LP

Following the release of ‘Venus in Leo‘ in 2019 through Ghostly International, Melbourne-based duo HTRK (pronounced Hate Rock) initiate their in-house imprint N & J Blueberries with ‘Rhinestones‘ LP, an elegant nine-track album of trademark sultry electronics, windswept emotion and heartbreak noir.

Said to be inspired by a recent infatuation with “eerie and gothic country music,” Jonnine Standish and Nigel Yang effortlessly flitter between whispered lament to acoustic eulogy to downtempo vignettes, tracing muted embers of loss and lust through haunted city streets. Highlights from the album include; ‘Sunlight Feels like Bee Stings‘, ‘Real Headfuck‘, ‘Straight to Hell‘ and ‘Gilbert and George‘.

‘Rhinestones’ is scheduled for release 17 September via N & J Blueberries. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
