Berlin-based producer Joe Davies (aka DJ Assam) lines up his debut double LP on Smallville Records in November featuring collaborations with Space Drum Meditation, Johan Kaseta and his brother Ossia.
Boasting chromatic artwork by Stefan Marx, ‘Shields In Full Sunlight‘ offers 8 tracks of sumptuous deep house and chugging new age melodies, delivering some much needed respite to the colder climes on the near horizon. Highlights include ‘Two Hours Earth Room‘, ‘Cygnus feat. Space Drum Meditation‘ and ‘AMY feat. Johan Kaseta‘.
To celebrate the release of his new album, Joe Davies plays an in-store at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham on Saturday 2nd December. The in-store event commences at 5pm and ends at 8pm. We’ll have copies of the double LP on sale, pre-order a copy and pick up in-store. Space is limited, head down early to cop wax and free beer courtesy of Brixton Brewery.
