Kalahari Oyster Cult mark 6 Year Anniversary with 4LP boxset ‘The Chants of the Holy Oyster’

The Amsterdam-based imprint Kalahari Oyster Cult, run by Colin Volvert, kick off their sixth journey round the sun with a massive collection of club friendly techno.

The excellently titled ‘The Chants of the Holy Oyster‘ consists of 18 tracks spanning four slabs of wax from the likes of S.O.N.S & Go Dam, Big Zen, Furious Frank, Sansibar, SW, Eversines, Roza Terenzi and D. Tiffany, to name just a few.

The label describe the release as “an assemblage of the fractal, explorative and ritual-ready; at once a focused distillation of the Kalahari sound and celebration of its many acolytes.” Listeners old and new alike will find be able to throw on any tune and get lost in the laser lights, nod their heads, and move their feet.

‘The Chants of the Holy Oyster’ is scheduled for release May 5 via Kalahari Oyster Cult. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
