KRAKE have unveiled their first wave of acts to perform at the week long underground electronic music festival in Berlin hosted between 22 – 29 July 2019.
Organised and curated by Killekill, a techno centric record label and booking agency operated out of Friedrichshain – KRAKE showcases a remarkable pool of talent, including performances from heavyweights; Dopplereffekt, Dasha Rush, Paula Temple, Cio D’Or, The Horrorist and Jensen Interceptor.
KRAKE commences on Monday 22 July with a special ambient assembly at Silent Green, a former crematorium in the north of Berlin, home to a stunning octagonal dome. To mark the occasion Dasha Rush will debut her new experimental collaboration, whilst Cio D’Or will present a live/hybrid set exploring her idea of a “pictureless cinema“.
On Wednesday 24 July, Paula Temple performs her explorative techno label ‘Noise Manifesto’ at Griessmuehle featuring at least 50% of artists that identify as trans, female, woman, non-male, non conforming or queer.
Friday daytime, the garden area at Urban Spree will host a record fair, bringing together a choice selection of record labels to discover. Later that evening synth-punk duo Petra Flurr & 89st will perform live alongside The Horrorist.
On Saturday KRAKE heads down to Griessmuehle for a 36 hour takeover. Dopplerefekt, Otto von Schirach, Jensen Interceptor, Arad all play in the main room, whilst Jasmine Azarian, Rory St John and others will perform in the Silo. Musical continues through to Sunday evening, with Ben Sims and Alienata.
