Berlin-based producer Mark returns to Ostgut Ton’s sub-label Unterton in April with a full-throttle drum n’ bass three tracker named ‘Integriert Euch Nicht‘.
It follows Marks previous extended player ‘The Least Likely Event Will Occur In The Long Run’ released in May 2018. The press release states that both ‘Fucking Sick Of Myself Since Day One (Hot Desk Mix)” and “Hats Off To Herr. F” were first performed live at Mark’s performance at the Ostgut Ton Nacht at Berghain in August last year.
The B-side’s vocals are worked by Blackest Ever Black alumni Silvia Kastel. Originally laid down by Mark as sine waves, before Kastel recorded each tone individually, creating microtonal clusters in the vein of Luigi Nono. Additionally Wilted Woman contributes sax-like sounds to the track by playing the aerophone.
‘Integriert Euch Nicht’ EP is scheduled for release 12 April 2019 via Unterton. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
