Following the launch of his eponymous label and sophomore album as Complete Walkthru earlier this year, NYC-based producer Max McFerren will return later in the summer to deliver his debut 12″ record as such, ‘My Friend Right Here EP‘, due out via Dublin’s First Second Label in late July.
Consisting of four hypertonic cuts brimming with his signature blend of dashing tech grooves, old-school breaks and multiversical electronics, this new EP is another portal to CW’s nonpareil sonic dimensions, fully geared towards getting your senses on alert.
Loaded with a naive, juicy kind of ravey euphoria that’s sure to leave you dazed bar after bar, each cut is a mind-trip in its own right, deftly navigating the chaotic meanders of a soul incapable to chose between the suave basement vibe of Chicagoan house, propulsive impact of the Motor City’s big-room melters and polyamorous embrace of the finest IDM.
