Next month, Munich-based record label Childhood bolster their discography with a triple vinyl LP from Mr. G aka Colin McBean named ‘The Forced Force Is Not The True Force‘.
Produced during lockdown in the heart of rural England at Mr. G’s studio in Market Harborough, the 12-track album is said to be “a story of forgotten places and takes you far away into a dream. A dream of the future. A dream that pays tribute to the past, is critical of the present and still gives hope for what’s to come.”
Upon first listen the album boldly presents tracks that follow Mr. G’s trademark approach to producing jacking house music, albeit with some more downtempo and experimental jams. Highlights include ‘Still Life Talkin”, ‘The Blues‘, ‘Future World‘ and album closer ‘Search‘.
‘The Forced Force Is Not The True Force’ is scheduled for an initial vinyl release on 19 July followed by a digital release on 30 July. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
