Following the release of his acclaimed album in June, today Oneohtrix Point Never announced the release of a four-track extended player via Warp, encompassing the unreleased composition “Love In The Time Of Lexapro” that has featured throughout OPN’s ‘Age Of‘ world tour.
Now the recorded version is to be made available in vinyl and digital formats and is said to be one of Lopatin’s most beautiful works. The A side closes with a further collaboration between OPN and Ryuichi Sakamoto, the latter’s starkly beautiful reworking of Age Of’s “Last Known Image Of A Song”, while the B side starts out with another brand new unreleased song “Thank God I’m A Country Girl” and finishes with an acoustic collaboration with Alex G on another Age Of stand-out, the haunting ode to New York City, “Babylon”.
‘Love In The Time Of Lexapro’ is scheduled for release in vinyl and digital formats on 23 November 2018, order a copy from Bleep.
