Today techno-futurist producer Peder Mannerfelt highlights and stands up to gender inequality and sexism in Sweden (and around the world) by giving away a free download of his live set staple ‘I Stand Up and Say, Toxic Masculinity has got to go Away‘. The Stockholm-based producer has also issued this statement below with the download.

I might come across as a fun-loving, carefree kind of guy and I live in what is supposed to be one of the most gender equal countries in the world. But this past year has yet again blatantly proven that we still have a very long way to go before we as a society can call ourselves united and equal.

As a white male today who claims artistic space, I feel that it’s my responsibility to stand up and ask my male peers to join me in this fight against sexism and inherited power structures of toxic male norms.

This is a track that has been a staple as the grand finale of my live set for some time and I’m very excited to share it with you as a free download.
