Introducing their inaugural release, Italian imprint Repulse Xplosif prepare to release ‘Paradise Collapse‘ – courtesy of producing duo Davide Di Bernardo and Erminio Granata, respectively known as Mystics and 11xxx27.
Following releases on Berlin-based imprint 47, Zhark, Bank NYC and Trieste-based Dissonanze Recordings, Mystics and 11xxx27 decided to team up again for their first release on the label owned Repulse Xplosif. In order to offer its listeners the ultimate shifting remedy, ‘Paradise Collapse‘ combines dystopian soundscapes, braindance extravaganza, dark ambient and techno rollercoaster.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘And Doubts Collapse‘ – thanks to its puzzle of supernova drones orchestrated by scalped martians. In an effort to speculate about the collapse of the blue sphere, Mystics and 11xxx27 employ space-echoed frequencies, anxious kickdrums, freaky IDM arpeggios and corroded computerized vocals.
