Premiere: Aleksei Nikitin – Dai Svet

Better known for his work as Nocow, which brought him to release on the likes of Clone, Rekids, Figure and more, Russian producer Aleksei Nikitin strips bare of his reputable alias to dish out the third instalment of London-via-Berlin based label UNDERTHESEA, featuring Jadac Recordings boss Daniël Jacques on remix duty.

Picked from this lavishly assorted mix of jagged 4/4 dynamics, low-slung drum programming and further appeasing loungey divagations, our premiere ‘Dai Svet‘ entrains us into a realm of silky smooth textures and Belle du Seigneur-esque hedonism. Indolent and sexy to the fullest, this one’s further evidence that Nikitin’s really got the knack for crafting the kind of deep and languorous house jams that’ll gladden both the afternoon dreamers and wee-hours dance marathon survivors.

Vesna is released via UNDERTHESEA on 24th May, pre-order a copy from Red Eye Records.
