Premiere: aza – the black groove

Brand new label Queer Future Club, a collective dedicated to giving a voice and a platform for the queer community, presents their first various artists EP. Curated by Vera Mono and Azo, the label is dedicated to exclusively showcasing queer, trans and non-binary artists, and is committed to diversity in sound as well as gender identity and sexuality.

This is reflected in their first release, Served Hot, an EP that derives its sound from trance, techno, house, bass and electro influences. On the black groove, the third track on the record and a contribution courtesy of aza, those sensibilities are combined into a 145 bpm, high energy dancefloor whipper.

Beneath this racing rhythm we find a freely grooving bassline, warm chord stabs and chopped up vocals, all tailor-made to keep bodies jacking, sweating and swinging hips until the earliest of hours.

‘Served Hot’ is out on 15th May via Queer Future Club. Buy a digital copy from Bandcamp.
