Premiere: Blacky II – Vesper Populace

How do you cure a case of the Mondays? It’s easy if you’re one of the four acts contributing to the latest release from The Umbrella – a record label run by the venerable Rinsed collective in Brooklyn.

After putting out a release from up-and-coming duo Lust Fund, as well as a multimedia performance piece from DAS, the pop-up party series returns with a mini-compilation entitled Endless Reflection, a four-track EP that imbues a kaleidoscopic energy throughout the release with a different auditory entry point along the way.

The entry point we took notice of the moment on this release was “Vesper Populace” – a buoyant, solid house romp that is perfect for the end of a sun shower set.

Endless Reflection is out now, order a copy from Juno.
