Fresh off a recent delivery on respected edit label Bahnsteig 23 as Caissard DJ, French producer Thomas Caissard reignites the fire as CRK alongside partner in crime Fabio Ramos on ‘Bien Post Internet‘, the much convincing followup to their 2017-released debut EP, ‘Nique La Police‘, on La Chinerie’s affiliated label Comic Sans Records.
Whilst humourless graphic designers grind their teeth just by looking at the covers, Caissard and his crew keep on sniping hails of full-fledged dancefloor destroyers and glitchy oddities on machine-gun mode. A highly flammable slice of wax, ‘Bien Post Internet‘ puts the focus on sounds new and old, blending sheer old-school breaks with pixelated melodies and up-to-date tropisms.
Streaming over our channels today is the muscular jungle heater ‘Plus Loin Que La Police‘ – a full on blazing chunk of rough-chopped rave material tinged with aerial ’90s-indebted ambient timbres and further trance-inducing textural arrangements. Nostalgic of Moving Shadow, Source Direct, Digital and other top shelf drum-heavy delicacies? This one is for you.
Bien Post Internet is out now, order a copy from Juno.
