Premiere: Cyan85 – Bass In My Mind

Swiss label LBR Records are set to release their next EP, a five-track V/A that brings together techno and electro talent from their roster. It’s a truly international affair, with artists from Armenia to Copenhagen delivering deadly club cuts for ’LBR-002’.

Schooled in the stylings of classic Detroit electro, Cyan85 hails from Eastern Germany and is based in Leipzig. The producer seems equally capable when it comes to both the soulful and more menacing iterations of the genre, previously releasing on labels including Lunar Orbiter Program and Voitax.

Our pick is Cyan85’s ‘Bass In My Mind’. Describing the track, the producer explains, “the track was inspired by the idea of a sexy vocal with a 90’s synth lead, mixed with a powerful electro drum groove”. It’s a pretty accurate description of this killer track.

’LBR-002’ is scheduled for release 16 September via LBR Records. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
