Premiere: D’Arcangelo – Gawain

Following notable releases from Shall Not Fade’s superstar Lake Haze, Roy Of The Ravers and Jaquarius among others, French label Tripalium Corp return with the collaborative ‘Acid Avengers‘ EP – courtesy of Italian duo D’Arcangelo and Berlin-based producer Karsten Pflum.

After previous appearances on Sheffield-based imprint Central Processing Unit, Furthur Electronix and Science Cult, Danish producer Karsten Pflum joins forces with obscure producing duo D’Arcangelo for five tracks of boundary-pushing IDM, devilish breakbeats and mind-warping states of acid.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Gawain‘ produced by D’Arcangelo – kicking off with a gyrating breakbeat motor groove leading to a blend of rusty signals, synthesized soundscapes from neo-acid empires, pumping breakbeats and interludes of celestial polyphony.

‘Acid Avengers’ EP is scheduled for release on 12th April via Tripalium Corp. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
