Two decades since their inaugural release, Madrid-based record label Lovemonk prepare to release the eleven-track ‘Romanticismo Siempre‘ LP from boundary-pushing producer Delone.
Despite chasing underground treasures for years with his defunct record shop Riverette in Madrid, Delone’s aesthetics delves into the trough of romance. Spread across eleven tracks, ‘Romanticismo Siempre‘ chronicles a collection of downtempo love affairs, delusional ambient, leftfield house and serotonin-filled braindance.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Campos Do Soria‘ – a piece of serene melancholia laced with introspective swirls of hazy synthesizers, echoes of resilience and delicate deconstructed breaks. A third-eye-opening experience unfolds in Epicurea’s vaults as Delone’s ectoplasm-esque oracles merge inside his all-round cloak.
