Premiere: DJ Frankie Feat. DJ これからの緊急災害 – On The Backwards

Following a massive compilation effort last year, Glasgow’s Lunacy crew return with their first vinyl release. It’s supplied courtesy of Barcelona-based DJ Frankie and is certainly a no-holds-barred trip through high-velocity club music.

Originally from Argentina, DJ Frankie relocated to Spain in 2018. Since then, he’s been making a name for himself with his own take on electro in particular, which has seen him land on A7A, Radio Mars and Source Material.

The title ‘Cobwebs of Blood’ hints at the type of twisted electronics contained within this release, which sees DJ Frankie taking disparate strands of electronic music and contorting them for his own nefarious ends. Our pick is the digital bonus track ‘On The Backwards’, a fidgety piece of electro featuring DJ これからの緊急災害.

‘Cobwebs of Blood’ is scheduled for release 12 December via Lunacy. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
