Presenting its third instalment of Family Affair series, Brooklyn-based label Razor-N-Tape feature thirteen tracks to celebrate upcoming gathering celebrations conducted by a mysterious Christmas shadow.
Featuring American songwriter Cor.ece, WOLF’s affiliate Gene Tellem, label head honcho JKriv and Ralph Session among others, ‘Family Affair Vol. 3‘ spans soulful house jams, future Nuyorican disco and shameless deep house cuts. From Brooklyn to your nearest discotheque, we’re all in this together.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Info At‘ interpreted by Free Magic & Catamaran – a languorous aggregate of homesickness. Starting with sluggish synthesizers and ceremonial percussions, then properly bolstered with groovy basslines and potent kick drums, it feels like a catboat sailing away from daily distress.
