Succeeding ‘Next Big Thing’ from Exildiscount in June 2021, Berlin-based imprint Unboxing Shadows return with the sophomore 2-track ‘Gone Viral‘ EP – courtesy of Exildiscount’s side band Glied.
As a result of metaphysical conversations about abstract monikers, Glied emerged as a symbol of the justice league’s ideals. Spread over 2-tracks, ‘Gone Viral‘ unveils dark synthwave melodies, modern disco psychedelia and gloomy EBM.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘SVP3RM4NSPR34D3R‘ – a petroglyph climax conducted by a supernatural metacarpus-shaped league. As its counter-clockwise kraut rhythms, slumberous synthesizers, and corrupted aerophones unfold, it’s nothing less than a psyched-out ballad inside the Hollow Earth.
