Frankfurt-based record label Die Orakel is no stranger to Inverted Audio. Oliver Hafenbauer‘s curation of experimental and dance floor sonics have blown minds and sound systems across the world through a swathe of releases as well as his own work as a DJ, promoter, and co-founder of EOS Radio.
As the label flips the page on a decade of existence, a ‘Braindance‘ compilation arrives ready to kick-start the celebrations and push the label’s aesthetic forth into the next chapter. While ‘Braindance‘ borrows its title from the IDM-adjacent 90s scene, its sound conveys a timeless quality that stays rooted in the present and future of electronica.
Featuring the likes of Reptant, Pépe, and Edward, the compilation caters to an adventurous home listening aesthetic that’ll take your chill out vibes into a different realm. ‘Braindance‘ comes in a 15-track digital edition as well as a 4-track vinyl EP, the latter showcasing the contributions of Dana Kuehr, Benjamin Milz, Reptant, and Poly Chain.
