Following releases from London-based DJ and producer Jossy Mitsu, Maloca’s head honcho Le Motel, WAJANG’s Amor Satyr and label head RONI, French modern bass imprint Nehza Records prepare to issue their ninth release – Nikki Nair‘s remix of Egyptian producer Hassan Abou Alam’s track ‘Ice‘.
After several releases on Mr Mitch’s Gobstopper label, a collaborative EP with Hudson Mohawke on Warp Records and Stockholm-based label Studio Barnhus, Nikki Nair delivers his frosty re-interpretation of the single ‘Ice‘ – which was released 23 September 2022.
Nikki Nair’s boundary-pushing interpretation of ‘Ice‘ oscillates between danger bass signals, trippy arpeggios and substantial electro rhythms. It’s a warning, you may be brutally woken up by the producer ringing your alarm clock at rave o’clock.
