HATT.D found himself with an abundance of time during the pandemic, much of which he dedicated to production. The Dutch artist sometimes spent up to 10 hours a day working on music, the results formed his new album for Russia’s GLBDOM, ‘Welcome To Paradise’.
Given this level of commitment to his craft, it’s unsurprising that the quality of these tracks is high. With 10 originals and six remixes, there’s also no shortage of value on HATT.D’s first full-length release. In addition to soulful house grooves, listeners will likely be able to discern other musical influences here, ambient, jazz, and hip-hop being among the most prominent.
Today, we’re excited to premiere ‘One Question (Paul Rudder Remix)’. Paul Rudder’s version is more stripped back than the original, the Spanish producer giving precedence to the thumping kick drum and radiant filtered synth.
